Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This notice explains what consumer health data the BeachReady mobile app ("BeachReady", "we", "us") collects, where it comes from, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
BeachReady gives you personalized feedback that is based on health data — your body metrics, what you eat, and your activity. Without that data the app cannot personalize its targets or feedback. You can edit or delete your entries at any time, though doing so may reduce how well the app can tailor things to you.
Consumer health data we collect
- Body metrics you enter — height, weight, date of birth, gender, your goal, and target weight.
- Nutrition data you log — foods, portions, calories and macronutrients, and any notes you add.
- Activity data you log — workouts and their duration.
- Targets the app generates for you — your calorie and macro targets and any coaching feedback derived from your data.
- Apple Health data, only if you connect it — body weight and workout data, used to keep your log up to date. You can disconnect it at any time in iOS Settings.
- Meal and nutrition-label photos you submit for recognition. These are sent to our processing service and to third-party AI providers solely to produce an estimate. They are not stored after processing and are not used to train models.
Where the data comes from
Directly from you as you use the app; from Apple Health if you choose to connect it; and from you when you contact us for support.
Why we collect and use it
- To provide the core features — logging, photo and text recognition, nutrition estimates, personalized calorie and macro targets, coaching feedback, and progress charts.
- To sync your data across your devices.
- To diagnose problems and keep the app reliable.
We do not sell your consumer health data and we do not use it for advertising. If we ever wanted to use it for a purpose other than the ones described here, we would ask for your consent first.
Who we share it with
We share data with service providers strictly to operate the app — cloud hosting for storage and sync, and AI providers for photo and text recognition. These providers process the data only on our instructions. We may also disclose data if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or similar transaction.
Retention
Your entries are kept until you delete them. Deleted entries are removed from active storage and purged from backups within 90 days. Recognition photos are discarded immediately after processing.
Your choices and rights
- You can edit or delete any entry in the app at any time.
- You can request deletion of all data associated with your account by contacting us at the address below.
- You can revoke camera, photo library and Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example, Washington or Nevada, USA), you may have specific rights to access, delete, or withdraw consent for consumer health data. To exercise them, contact us at hello@beachready.coach.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surfaced in the app.
